Dentistry In a New Light

I'm a dentist who believes that good dentistry begins with understanding the whole person — and that belief has shaped my path from the very beginning.

Born and raised in Maryland, I started at the University of Maryland with a degree in Kinesiology. That interest in how the body works as a connected system led me to a Master's degree in Biomedical Science with a concentration in Oral Biology, and then to Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. After dental school, I went on to complete a one-year hospital residency within the One Brooklyn Health system, where I gained extensive training in complex restorative, surgical, and preventive dentistry — always with a focus on the connection between the mouth and overall health.

That foundation is the lens I bring to every patient. The mouth isn't separate from the body; it's a window into it, and your oral health and your general health are deeply intertwined. But my goal goes beyond the work itself. Whether you come in for a single cleaning or a full course of treatment, I want you to leave understanding your own mouth: why a problem happened, how to prevent it next time, and exactly what I did to fix it.

Dentistry shouldn't be something that's done to you — it should be something you understand and feel part of. When patients leave empowered, comfortable, and confident in their care, they take better care of themselves at home, and that's where lasting oral health really begins.

That's the kind of dentist I set out to be: one you can understand, one you can trust, and one who's genuinely in your corner.
